TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
